Creative event services, strategic meetings management, and more consulting solutions now available to Egencia customers 

London, UK – July 20, 2022Egencia, the only proven global B2B travel tech platform, today announced its customers can now access American Express Meetings & Events (M&E) and Global Business Consulting (GBC) services following the acquisition of Egencia by American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) in November 2021. Egencia’s 9,000+ customers around the world will have access to industry-leading Amex GBT services to enhance the performance of their travel and meetings programs, which will increase ROI, reduce risk, and maximize savings.

American Express Meetings & Events brings 40 years of global expertise, industry-leading technology, and a diverse supplier network, managing 97,000 meetings per year in 120 markets* with meeting spend worth $3 billion.  With the backing of Amex GBT, Egencia is expanding its current Groups & Meetings (G&M) offering and customers will get access to a full suite of end-to-end solutions with flexibility to customize services to fulfil any size, format, or complexity (in person, virtual or hybrid).  The global M&E team supports their customers on both an individual event basis, providing creative event services such as design, production, and logistics, and on a more strategic meetings management basis delivering visibility and maximized savings to regional and global clients.

With access to GBC’s market leading outsourced travel management solution, Egencia customers can have outsourced travel managers globally embedded in their organizations for day-to-day support to strategic guidance that helps increase value, and continuous program maturity and improvement. In addition, Egencia customers will also experience program strategy solutions to fuel their environment objectives, and benefit from GBC’s Green Compass, which is a proprietary solution that puts companies on the road to decarbonization. These high touch services and enhanced support capabilities can help Egencia customers scale their businesses through travel.
