**Please note: this is an in-person program. You must be physically located near Chicago or Seattle for the duration of the internship.**

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with software development engineers to write and operate software systems
  • Apply software design principles, data structures and/or design patterns, and computer science fundamentals to write code that is clean, optimized, tested, maintainable, and operable.
  • Grow expertise in database design to address data requirements.
  • Collaborate with partner roles like Product, Design, and Analytics to apply good business judgment to refine requirements so that they best address customer needs.
  • Use and improve CI/CD pipelines to deploy your work and deliver value to the end-users.

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a university-level Computer Science program (Bachelors or Masters)
  • Understand basic concepts of computer science and software development
  • Sharing innovative ideas and working with teams
  • Moderate strength in at least one programming or scripting language.
  • Familiarity with data stores or API access patterns and integration.
  • Understands how crafted functions fit into team projects.
  • Understanding of testing and monitoring tools and how to apply them to code.
  • Ability to debug applications.

 

Our Internship Interview Process

Closely mirroring our full-time interview process, our internship selection process will help you prepare for job applications after college.

  • We will perform a first-round review of the candidates
  • Complete an online technical assessment
  • Live Technical interview (via Zoom, with 2 engineers)
  • Live Behavioral interview (via Zoom with 2 people)

This is a 12-week, hybrid internship assignment; you will have paid time off for company holidays. This position does not include elective paid time off (PTO), relocation assistance, or benefits.
