IAC Chairman and Chairman and Senior Executive Barry Diller to Speak at GBTA Convention 2017

Alexandria, VA (June 8, 2017) – The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), the voice of the global business travel industry, today announced Chairman and Senior Executive of IAC and the Chairman and Senior Executive of Expedia, Inc., Barry Diller as a featured speaker at GBTA Convention 2017, July 15 – 19 in Boston. A one-on-one interview with Barry Diller will take place at Convention Arena on Tuesday, July 18. This session is made possible by Egencia.

Barry Diller is the Chairman and Senior Executive of IAC and the Chairman and Senior Executive of Expedia, Inc. In the past, Mr. Diller served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fox, Inc. and was responsible for the creation of Fox Broadcasting Company in addition to Fox’s motion picture operations.

Before joining Fox, Mr. Diller served for 10 years as the Chairman and Chief Executive of Paramount Pictures Corporation. In March 1983, in addition to Paramount, Mr. Diller became President of the conglomerate’s newly formed Entertainment and Communications Group, which included Simon & Schuster, Inc., Madison Square Garden Corporation and SEGA Enterprises, Inc. Prior to joining Paramount, Mr. Diller served as Vice President of Prime Time Television for ABC Entertainment.

Held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, GBTA Convention 2017 will bring together nearly 7,000 business travel professionals from more than 50 countries across the globe.
