For 45 per cent of business travelers around the globe, arranging ground transportation is the most frustrating part of booking their own travel. Frustrated, unaware of other options or pressed for time, 70 per cent of these business travelers choose to default to the taxi line at the airport as the easiest way to find their way around an unfamiliar city.

At every stage of the trip, the traveler sees an in-app summary of ground transportation options. Without having to enter details, the traveler gets the time to destination and estimated costs and is seamlessly delivered the information they need to get them on their way.

This study was conducted on behalf of Egencia by Northstar, a globally integrated strategic insights consulting firm. The study was conducted among 6,072 international business travellers who travelled at least 2 times in the past year.
