What is your favorite part of your job?
Inspiring people to continue learning and seeing them develop into great collaborators and leaders.
What has been your proudest moment so far at Egencia?
Any time I hear someone say, "I love this team" or "this team is awesome"; knowing that it’s because we've hired great people who work hard and truly care for one another.
What makes Egencia a great place to work?
The People; from product and technology to sales, account management, and marketing. We all love working together and never allow "silos" to develop. We’re always sharing and exploring new and innovative ways of making things happen.
Why would you recommend a career within your team?
We have some of the most amazing technical mentors who pride themselves on growing talent in others. There's no "me first" mindset - quite the opposite! We encourage each other to expand our horizons and take on new projects to grow skills and experience.
What piece of career advice would you give candidates looking to join Egencia?
Adopt a growth mindset and see all the amazing places it takes you. Always be a learner and as your experience, knowledge, and skillset expands, share it with others.
What are you most passionate about?
Helping people and serving my community. At Egencia, I've had numerous opportunities to not only serve my team, but also to foster volunteerism with others. We've pulled planes (literally) to benefit Special Olympics, kayaked rivers to clean up garbage, served the homeless, and done countless other activities.
