Stan Sorensen
Vice President of Account Management and Meetings
Stan Sorensen leads Egencia’s Account Management, Customer Retention Marketing, and Meetings teams in the United States. He is responsible for driving customer value through the execution of high quality management services through our industry leading account management teams.
Prior to joining Expedia in 2006, Mr. Sorensen was responsible for marketing and product management at Melodeo, a Seattle-based company that develops on-demand media programs for the Web and mobile phones. During his time at Melodeo, he established the company as the leader in the nascent mobile podcast market.
Prior to that, Mr. Sorensen spent more than 14 years at Microsoft, where he ran marketing and product management for the Microsoft SQL Server and Exchange Server, helping achieve significant revenue and share growth for both products.
Mr. Sorensen has a BA in History from the University of Puget Sound. He is an avid skier and fisherman, active in Y Guides, and coaches Little League Baseball. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two sons.
